The other computer....

I donated to the OLPC program because of two reasons:

The first was because the idea that one more child somewhere will have
their own computer seems like a true gift. In a world where
millionaires are born out of a good idea and some computer know how-
this is about the furthesti $400 can go in helping third world kids.

The second reason was that I wanted to see what millions of kids would
have as their first introduction to computing. Perhaps I'll remember
to post my thoughts once I've played with it for a while. :-)

Hunter mountain

Just got back from a great trip to hunter mountain for some great
snowboarding. We had really great snow and basically had the mountain
to ourselves!

I'm very excited to be in Seattle where we will be in whistler after
3hours of driving instead of hunter!

Some perspective

It is always good to put yourself right in the middle of things and
see how they look from there.

Days m'spot

I'm talking about the tree obviously.
There is an amazing lpeople nest at the top! Climb up to the top and
you'll see what i mean. But wait until there are leaves if you don't
want trouble from the civil servants, ya hear?
